What data we process
Through the contact form we collect your name, your email address, your company name (if you choose to give it) and your message.
In addition, as with any website, the hosting provider keeps the IP address and browsing data of each visit in its technical logs, for security purposes and for a limited period. It does so as a processor, on our behalf.
To limit mass submissions of the form, we temporarily store an encrypted digest (hash) of the IP address it is sent from. That digest is deleted when it expires, after one hour.
We do not use analytics tools, we do not build profiles and we do not show advertising.
Data controller
CRUD Software, S.L.U., Tax ID B44837565, Calle Alejandro Dumas 17, 29004 Málaga (Spain). Email: jonathan@crudsoftware.com.
What we use it for
To answer your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to prepare a proposal for you. We do not use it to send you marketing or for any other purpose.
The technical logs and the IP digest are used only to keep the website secure and prevent abuse of the form.
Legal basis
Your consent, which you give by submitting the form (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).
If your enquiry is about hiring our services, also taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
The technical logs and the IP digest are based on our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and protecting it from abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting any processing carried out before.
How long we keep it
While we deal with your enquiry and, at most, one year after our last contact if no business relationship follows. If the enquiry leads to a contract, the data will be governed by that contract and kept for the periods required by law (for example, tax and commercial ones). After that, it is deleted.
Who we share it with
We do not share your data with anyone, unless required by law.
To run the website, some providers process data on our behalf as processors under contract: the website's hosting provider, the email provider that receives and stores messages, and Cloudflare, Inc., which provides the Turnstile anti-spam check on the contact page.
Cloudflare may process technical data (such as your IP address or browser data) in the United States. This transfer is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Cloudflare has self-certified, and by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, rectify or erase your data, object to or restrict its processing, or receive it in a portable format. Just email jonathan@crudsoftware.com stating which right you wish to exercise. If we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may ask you to prove it.
If you feel we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
